From 15 to 20 June, Zaječar, Serbia, hosted the Kick-Off Meeting of the YouthAction4HealthWB project, bringing together representatives of all seven partner organisations from six countries for the official launch of the three-year regional initiative.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to get to know each other, strengthen their cooperation, and establish a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes. Throughout the programme, partners discussed the implementation timeline, coordinated upcoming activities, and clarified roles and responsibilities for the successful delivery of the project over the next three years.
Special attention was given to project management, communication and dissemination, financial and administrative procedures, quality assurance, and the coordination of work packages, ensuring that all partners begin implementation with a common vision and a clear roadmap for cooperation.
Beyond the working sessions, the Kick-Off Meeting created valuable opportunities for networking, team building, and strengthening partnerships that will support the successful implementation of YouthAction4HealthWB throughout the project lifetime.
Together, we are laying the foundations for stronger youth participation in shaping health policies and improving the health and wellbeing of young people across the Western Balkans.
